On Tuesday, December 5, a reception celebrating the December 23 birthday of the Heisei Emperor was held at the Official Residence of the Japanese Consul General in Los Angeles. An outdoor Chado demonstration by our association was included in the official program. Over100 guests enjoyed matcha tea and we all celebrated the Emperor’s birthday.
On Sunday, October 29, a Chado demonstration and tea service event was held at the Huntington Library and Gardens.
