On Sunday, October 20, 2019, a Chado demonstration was held at the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. Approximately 65 people were welcomed to a wonderful time of experiencing Japanese culture. First, the docent lectured about the architecture of tea house including a tearoom with alcove and a preparation room at the tea house Seifuan. Then the guests enjoyed a tea demonstration using Misonodana by the association members. Each guest received a Japanese maple shaped tea cake and a bowl of thin tea.
