On a cool Saturday morning, Ann Abe, Miyuki Guterres, Yasmin Elming and Naomi Borelli represented the Urasenke Tankokai Los Angeles Association (UTLAA), at the annual Little Tokyo Sparkle.  It is a day where the community comes together to help pick up trash, wipe graffiti, and sweep the sidewalks of Little Tokyo.  There were over 370 volunteers!  It was a fun day to participate and make a difference in our community.  We were assigned to clean Central Street between 1st and 2nd streets.  It is said that “volunteering is a do-good, feel-good activity.”   It was definitely true!
