On Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15, 2018, the 38th Annual Los Angeles Lotus Festival was held at Echo Park Lake. At the request of the City of Los Angeles, the Urasenke Tankokai L A Association organized a chado experience for the general public. During the two-day festival, over 600 people enjoyed a bowl of tea, watched the shunjudana temae demonstration and participated in the ‘make your own tea’ workshop.
