On Saturday, August 11, 2018, we held chado demonstration and make-your-own-tea workshop at the Long Beach Japanese Language School. Over 80 students aging from kinder to adult participated in the event. After watching the bonryaku temae demonstration, each student tried their first tea making experience. It was great to see so many smiles who enjoyed the Japanese sweets from Kyoto and the bowl of tea.
