On Sunday, April 30, 2017, as part of “EXPORE AND EXPERIENCE SADO, KADO, SHODO CULTURAL EXHIBITION” (April 23, 2017 – May 14, 2017) by JACCC, we, Urasenke Tankokai LA Association held Chado demonstration for about 50 participants. The venue had display of Ikebana, the Japanese flower arrangement (Kado) and Japanese calligraphy (Shodo). Tabi-dansu Shiba-date demonstration was presented to the participants. At the workshop, with the help of our members, the participants tried making a bowl of thin tea by themselves. Everyone seemed enjoying the experience.
